    3. Dear Listers, The English service of Radio Ceylon was very, very popular with the Anglo-Indian and Goan communities in Karachi. In fact, those of us who had tape recorders ( usually Grundig spool-type) waited with baited breath for any Jim Reeves song to come on air to press the 'Record' button. Warm regards, Mike
