I know he died in Hubl and I think around the late 1950's or early 1960's. I think Clarence Mannas information could be gotten from his "Employment Records:" which the Southern Railway in Hubli will be having. I sure would like to get a copy of his record of employment as all his information would be on his record, especially finding names of his next of kin. I'm sure that his date, and place of birth will be on his employment record. The second person is Cyril Mannas, he also I think worked for the Railway but have no idea which railway. Hi all, I have just joined the list and am trying to trace my family back through the Raj period from about mid 1800's to 1950. Both sides of the family were born and raised over 3 generations (Oakley and Fleming) and were based in the mountain resort town of Mussoori near the Himalayan border. Is there some kind of registrar or list of British citizens living in India during this period?
