    3. On the off-chance that Greg's search finds mention of a Major Harry Barlow, living in Sirmoor and dying in Nahan in July 1909, I would be grateful to hear of it. He was my grandfather's first-cousin; and his death notice in "The Times" described him as "tutor/companion to the son of the Maharaja of Sirmoor". He was buried in Delhi; a family report has it that he died of cholera on the train from Nahan to join his wife in Bombay. Thanks for any help - and good luck, Greg. Gordon Barlow Hi all, I have just joined the list and am trying to trace my family back through the Raj period from about mid 1800's to 1950. Both sides of the family were born and raised over 3 generations (Oakley and Fleming) and were based in the mountain resort town of Mussoori near the Himalayan border. Is there some kind of registrar or list of British citizens living in India during this period? Thanks in anticipation, Cheers, Greg Oakley Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
