A lovely story... If only I had some cash to spare in 1956 at the time of the Suez Crisis I too may enjoyed a Rolls Life! A friend offered me his 1935 model Rolls Royce plus petrol ration tickets for that £100(GBPs) as he was off to live in Canada...Not quite as elegant as M. Lapierres, but desirable too....
