Here is a HENRIQUES family group, who lived in Bombay, India. I hope that this posting assists some of you HENRIQUES researchers, on this list. Anthony Joseph HENRIQUES, son of Antonio Francisco and Maria Francisca HENRIQUES, was born about 1850. Anthony married (1) Luiza Quiteria dALMEIDA (c1857  1886) and they lived in Gorai, Bombay, where they had two children. Luiza, aged 28, died on April 22nd., 1886 and was buried with m.i. in mid-nave in Holy Magi Church, Gorai. Anthony married (2) Monica Francisca GOMES (c1863  1908). Monicas parents were Evaristo Francisco GOMES and Clara ESPERANCE from Bandra West. Anthony and Monica lived in Bandra, in Pali and in Boran. Anthony died on September 25th., 1904 and Monica on December 26th., 1908 and they were buried in St. Andrews churchyard, Bandra, just south of the statue of Christ the King. Anthony and Luiza, his first wife, had issue: A. Esperance Clementine HENRIQUES, born about 1882. On February 25th., 1904, in St. Andrews Church, Bandra, Clementine married Alexander Lawrence Nicholas DSOUZA. They had issue. B. Dr. Joseph Francis HENRIQUES (Dr. Joey), born in Gorai, on December 1st., 1883, baptized in Cavel, Bombay, on February 17th., 1884. Dr. Joey married Mary Quiteria DSOUZA. They had one child, a girl. Anthony and Monica, his second wife, had issue, all baptized in St. Andrews Church, Bandra: C. Guilhermina Adelaide Quiteria HENRIQUES, (red hair), born in Bandra on November 19th., 1890. On January 31st., 1910, in St. Andrews Church, Bandra, Adelaide married William Anthony de ALMEIDA - both were described as from Boran. They had issue. D. Luiz Estevao Evaristo HENRIQUES, born in Bandra on July 23rd., 1892, bp. in St. Andrews Church, Bandra, on August 8th., 1892. Luiz married May PIRES. They lived in Poona and they had issue. E. Wilhermine Rosa HENRIQUES, (red hair), born in Bandra on December 23rd., 1893, bp. in St. Andrews Church, Bandra, on January 7th., 1894. On May 3rd., 1915, in Cavel, Bombay, Wilhermine married Andrew C. HENRIQUES. They had issue. F. Felix HENRIQUES, born in Bandra. Later, he went away and disappeared from the family. He had a daughter with red hair. G. Luthgarde Agnes HENRIQUES, born on August 11th., 1896, in Bandra, bp in St. Andrews Church on August 11th., 1896. On May 20th., 1918, in Gloria Church, Bombay, Luthgarde married Nicholas F. ALMEIDA, of Kurla. They had issue.
