It doesn't give much more info other than where he originated from and when he was discharged from the army. I have translated what the Dutch record says. There were a few othe! r Salder's but of course I'm not sure if they are related or not. I don't know where the place Slendel is, nor does it appear either when I do a Google search. For those who may have Dutch ancestors, I recently discovered the website below which is a kind of 'Find My Past'. One can do free searches which have been transcribed, but to see the original documents you have to be a member. Anyway, I hope this may be of some help.
