Passengers from Ireland probably travelled through Britain. Although I dont know of any on-line passenger lists for voyages starting in Ireland there are lists available on-line from that period of journies starting in Britain. I dont know that you will find arrivals in India. I have found that troops are not usually always listed on published passenger lists but family travelling with them sometime are.
