I have found the marriage record of my great grandmother Agnes SIMMONS (daughter of John SIMMONS) to Joseph Samuel CARROLL in Trichinopoly, Madras, India in 1890. According to the marriage record she was born in 1872. Anecdotal history is that she died quite young (aged late 20's or early 30's) in Madras, India. I have found a death record for an Agnes CARROLL buried in Pakala Madras, India in 1908 but I can't be sure this is my ancestor. I have been unable to find a birth record for Agnes in India, nor can I positively identify any records found on the familysearch site for her father John SIMMONS. I would be interested to hear from anyone researching the Simmons/Carroll family who resided in or near Trichinopoly, Madras, India. Thanks. Sandra
