    1. [INDIA] Digital Library of India question
    2. Maureen Evers
    3. Hello List This is a question for anyone who uses the Digital Library of India website. There are some great books to read online which are available on this site which you can’t get online anywhere else, such as some Thacker’s Directories etc etc. I have a new computer, an Apple iMac which uses Safari. Previously I had a PC which used Internet Explorer, version 8 I think. When I was reading a book on the Digital Library of India website, if I wanted to go to a particular page, I could click on the “page box” at the bottom of the page, type in the required number, then press enter. This would take me to that page number in the file (which may have been a bit different to the page in the actual book with that number, but at least was reasonably close). I find with Safari the only way to advance pages is by clicking, one click for each page. I have also downloaded Google Chrome and the same applies. I have been in email correspondence with someone who advises he can access the “page facility” with Internet Explorer 8, but not with Google Chrome. My question is: Can anyone access the “page facility” with any browsers other than Internet Explorer. I would also be interest to know if later versions of IE allow access to the “page facility” Cheers Maureen (Sydney)
