    3. Hello List David, if you think your photograph is after 1837 (ie Victorian era) you could ask your question on the Victorian Wars Forum. You can post a photograph directly on the VWF. However the file size is restricted, so you would get a larger image available by posting, (or asking for the image to be posted) on the FIBIS Fibiwiki, then referring to the URL in your Victorian Wars Forum post. The procedure is set out in the FIBIS Fibiwiki page Mailing lists, section Military. http://wiki.fibis.org/index.php?title=Mailing_lists#Military Cheers Maureen (Sydney) Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:30:03 +1000 From: David Cornelius <[email protected]> Subject: [INDIA] Cornelius/ Skinner - Two questions I wonder if anyone on the List might be able to help me with twoproblems that seem to have blocked me?.... The second question relates to a damaged photograph which I think might be another ancestor, TW Skinner, who was a conductor in the Madras Artillery. The picture is of a man in a winged collar with a cap or kepi, seemingly with a fur band, a central piece that goes towards the top with a metal button in front, and to the left of the band is an oval embossed badge of sorts. I don't know whther a military man would have worn a white winged collar. Would anyone know what sort of headgear would have been worn by anon-commissioned officer in the Madras Artillery? Thank you, David Cornelius
