In 1895 there was certainly one hotel, the 'Victoria', managed by Walter Francis Trotter; he was also there in 1879. There was also an establishment called 'Theodore's Lodge', proprietor Lalla Munee Ram. These are the only two establishments listed in 1895. I don't know of any other editions of Thacker on-line. There are further editions in the State Library of Victoria (1911, 1917, 1925, 1929, 1933), but they are held offsite and have to be ordered up.
