Dear List - if the following message feels like deja vous - it's just me persevering in the hunt for my family's history! Can anybody give me any info regarding people on the ground doing look ups in church records in India. Bombay, and areas of Mahim, Parel,Byculla and Dadar specifically. I would be quite prepared for research fees. I have been banging my head against that brick wall, contacting individual churches by letter, and apart from diligent response from Bangalore and Mysore, received no replies.
