Hello List For anyone who had ancestors who worked for the "Survey of India", the books Historical records of the Survey of India by Reginald Henry Phillimore are now available online, either to read online, and/or download as pdfs. There are five volumes which cover the period to 1861. There is a great deal of biographical information about the men who worked for the Survey of India in the period covered.
