I have a book which belonged to my late grandmother entitled Indian Domestic Economy, 7th edition published Calcutta 1871 which is fascinating. Unfortunately the first few pages which give details of how to treat and what to pay servants are damaged but there are many recipes so if there was anything you were particularly interested in let me know and I shall look it up.
