Am doing research on the above mentioned. He was owner of Flashman's Hotel in Rawalpindi. Flashman worked for a General Merchant in Ambala before moving to Pindi where he started a general merchant store on Canning Road. He subsequently started the hotel on the Mall around 1894. It seems he sold the hotel around 1919 and also received a temporary commission as Captain in the Indian Army. He may have died in 1929.
