I'm looking for any information about Alexander Francis Holmes believed to have been born in Lahore possibly about 1840 - 1850. His son was Joseph Alexander Hercules Holmes born 15 March 1871 in Lahore. Alexander 's father could have been Col. John Holmes born in the UK possibly Scotland.
