Michael, If you click on the little arrow under "Preview", or click on the actual name of the person, additional details are shown. It is true that the volume and page numbers are not given, but the LDS film number is, and so you order in that film and then have to go through it to check the actual image from which the transcription was made. It is true that if you have the page number then you can wind the film more quickly, but there's not a lot in it, and it's good practice to look at the other entries on the film, especially for the place concerned, to see what else might be of interest. Unfortunately the LDS uses some form of standard indexing program and this leads to some curiosities. As an example, for a baptism, there is no field for the occupation of the father (whereas there is a field for "Race", which is presumably very USA-oriented), but for burials the "Occupation" field is included. Just another note...if you click on the person's name to see the full details of the entry, then at the bottom of your screen you will see the film number in blue. Click on that film number and wait a moment or two and then all the entries on that film will be displayed - often 2000-3000. If you really want a volume number, you can get them from here: http://valmayukuk.tripod.com/id33.html and work backwards from the film number. Noel
