He marries a lady by the name of Annie who sadly dies in childbirth on 26 December 1880 in India. Arthur goes on to marry Catherine Rogers on 14 June 1881 in Sanawar. Arthur is back in England with Catherine and their children by 1901. I am trying to trace Arthur's marriage to Annie. Sadly I don't have her surname. When Annie passes she is given as being 29 years old so I guess her birth year is about 1851. I would presume born in India. Does anyone please have a way of trying to trace their marriage? Arthur and Annie's first child is born in 1878 in Agra. Arthur is shown on his second marriage cert as being a Sergeant in the 4th/60th Rifles. Apart from looking for his marriage to Annie can anyone please tell me if there is somewhere I can find Arthur's military record too? Arthur's surname is sometimes spelt with an e on the end.
