Hello, I don't gather from your email if you are discounting Charles Haddon Spurgeon altogether, or if he is just outside your immediate search area, but the name Spurgeon has deep connections with the Baptist Church. CHS founded Spurgeon's College, the Baptist Training college. So, I wonder if your search subjects were in India as Baptist Missionaries? Google searches for the Baptist Union, Spurgeon's College and/or Baptist Missionary Society will produce information and contact details should you need them. I hope that helps.
