I continue with my detailed postings, over the last two years, on the descendants of Sir Miguel / Michael de Lima e Souza, of Bombay, India.  This posting concerns the descendants from Louisa, who was a daughter of Sir Michael and his second wife, Anna Maria Carvalho.  Louisa was born approximately 1790.  My principal source is a family tree, produced about 1940, by Matilda Divo (nee de Lima) (1870 - 1949) and Colonel Trevor de Ga (1918 - 1999), both of them descendants of Sir Michael and each of them accomplished genealogists.        Whereas Sir Michael married twice and begot eight children, it appears that only four of these children bore him any grandchildren.  This posting addresses the last of those those four children.  Luisa de Lima e Souza was born about 1790,a daughter of Michael de Lima e Souza and Anna Maria Carvalho, his second wife.  Louisa married Joseph Anthony Pereira.  Theyhad issue:     - Nicholas Pereira, reported to have hadno issue.  - Anna Maria Pereira, who married Manoel Maria de Ga and they had issue:  - Anna Maria de Ga.   - Joseph Anthony de Ga  - John Pereira, reported to have had no issue.    I would be delighted to correspond with, and share family history details on the family of Sir Michael de Lima e Souza, with any descendant or researcher of this family.  All this family are either ancestors or laterals of my wife.  Best wishes.
