Hello Listers Can some-one put me in the right Search area please. My late father-in-law, A.C.L. AUSTIN worked for the 'telephone company' as a 'telegraph technician'. His children were born in various parts of India making tracing his work history more difficult - Coimbatore, 1928; Hubli, 1932-1933; Guntur, 1934; Bangalore, 1937; Pakala, 1940; Hubli, 1944; Ghorpuri, 1952. I do have some info on the issue born on the above dates. His father, Thomas AUSTIN (1876, believed to be in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh IND - 1957 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India) was a 'Police Officer' - where would I find information about Thomas? We have not been able to establish who Thomas' parents are. Any and all assistance ever so gratefully received. Glenys
