However, it is a sad fact that very few churches etc in India actually reply to a mail/email enquiry, and require you to visit in person to find out information. There is a book on the subject of Jews in India: 'Jews of the Raj' by Mavis Hyman. I don't see the surname Foorman in the index but the book may be of interest.
