Hi David My experience of Baptism records in India give the mother's first name as well - which has been fantastically useful for me. I had a quick look at what is available on the net and had no luck. If you can get someone to go to the India Office they may be able to find her baptism. In the 1851 UK census she was in Bath with her age recorded as 65 born in India, British subject. Her father was Major General Edward RAWSTORNR (1745-1801). She is my wife Brenda's 3g-grandmother.
