Michael was returned to England on 23 June 1846 as an invalid soldier. Whilst in India Michael married Harriet Sausby (as written on the marriage certificate) in 1835 at Bangalore. Harriet was born 1822 at Dinapore and according to her death certificate her parents were William and Harriet. William was suppose to be a British Soldier and Harriet a full blood Indian lady. Trying to find a surname for Harriet (mother). The Sausby surname has also be written Sansby, Salusbury, Salisbury, Saulsbury, Saulbury.
