Hi Sylvia, Arnolda's maiden name was Nicholas. She married a Pyster hence widow. Yes I found that and noted the same. I am trying to find someone to translate what it says in dutch but as yet have not had it done. We are starting to wonder if now the surname is acutally Sellerbeck. A friend of mine had a look and has come back with the name of that and we have found a christening for a Johannes Sellerbeck in 1803 which does fit in. Arnolda had 3 children to her late husband (Pyster). One married in Colombo not sure what happened to the other one and the son left when he was 19yrs to attend Medical School in Calcutta so do think they did stay there. Thanks and if anyone else can help it is very much appreciated.
