Hi I'm researching my Father's family tree who lived in India from the 1800s through to the 1950s. The names I'm researching are: REGEL based around Trevandrum, Madras BRADBURY based around Bellary CUMBERLAND based in Madras presidency ROZARIO based around Trevandrum, Madras The REGEL tree goes back to Francis Casparus Regel (died 1823) who was the Governor of Sadras (a Dutch settlement fort approx 70km north of Madras) in 1818. He was married to Fredericka Wilhelmina (possibly Ricke). If anyone on this list has a connection to any of these names, I would love to hear from you!
