Dear Listers, I am searching for my ggrandmother's maiden name. She was married to a William C Crowford or Crawford as they are referred to as a 'Cawnpore' family i would think she was born and burried there.She and William had 3 children born in 1865 1867 and1876 Ihave tried Maureen Evers Family search beta search but no luck.I have tried Families in British India I do not know if her name was Barron. My mother said something about h er but I cannot recall what it was. I was too young and emptiedheaded! to be interested. I hope some kind lister can help me Thanks from Doreen

You will need to look at one or more of the original baptism records to find out William's occupation and this may give you a clue as to where to look next for a marriage record.
