I bought Ancestry worldwide for the purpose of seeing any Indian records and was very disappointed.  For BMDs and other records you are much better off with FIBIS, British Library and and familysearch beta and the National Archives. They do have a Quarterly list for about 1912 if memory serves, Thackers 1895 and East India Company 1844.  More stuff is coming on line all the time but I doubt that BMDs will appear. One of the main benefits I have found is access to other peoples' trees. Contact me off line if you want me to do a little digging on your behalf to see if it is worth your while buying membership.
