The only details that we have is as follows - Her mother's name is Margaret Ellen Porritt (spelling of last name uncertain) born 22 May 1922 Calcutta. She married, around 1939, William Charles Warburton who later started using the last name of Marsden (step father John Henry Marsden).Her parents died, no dates, the father was possibly an engineer in the British Army. Margaret Ellen Porrit and her brother Dudley Porritt were placed in an unknown orphanage and later an Aunty took them under her care. If anyone can help me with any information or if they have Porritt in their family tree I would love to hear from. Thank you.
