Here in Victoria, Australia, our public libraries have access to Ancestry. I book the "Genealogy computer" for an hour each week, for when I go to a neighbouring large town to do my shopping, and it is free. I am a member of the library. Check to see if there is a similar set up where you live. If you get stuck, contact me off line with your information, and I will see if there is anything on Ancestry that I can find for you.... but it might be in a week or two. Francois, I guess that you are looking for information from passenger lists. Unfortunately Ancestry only has passenger lists for inward travel to UK and only from 1878.
