Hi Frances A very quick search od the LDS beta site gave these instances, both from marriage records: Yorick Jones Murrow (father of the groom) John Yorick Brookes (father of the groom) One took place in 1854 the other in 1908 Cheers De in Aus Searching for RAYMOND, HARDIE, BURNS, WALLIS, DAVIDSON, WHITE, ALLEN, OWEN/S, LARENGO, PATHE, SCOTT, WICKENS, MAYBERY, WILKINS.

I also found that Yorrick was another version of "York" - and similar origins to names such as Derrick, Alick etc. Cheers Ainslie
