Hi listers I am hoping that someone can tell me the difference between the Calcutta Great Jail and the Calcutta House of Correction? My interest is in the House of Correction in the 1850s. Also, does anyone know if any records survive and where they might be kept? I have searched the British Library catalogue without any success. Many thanks Lynden
