His stepfather was Harold Palmer who was the fire chief in Bombay. He died in the huge explosion In Bombay . He came from Kidderminster. Denise said - "My mother was Kathleen Alexandra Palmer (known as Kay or "Girlie" to her family) and her parents were Henry and Mary Ann Palmer from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England. I have recently found out that one of my grandfather Henry's brothers was in the Fire Service in Bombay -- probably Harold I believe. denise.page@hotbase.co.uk Hope this may be of some help to you.
