The records show that Morgan MALONY married Charlotte JONES on 23 April 1815 at Fort William, Bengal. The following year Morgan died. He was buried at Cawnpore on 11 September 1916 and is described as white and a private in HM 66 Regiment. Charlotte did not wait more than a few days to marry again; this time to James ALMER on 28 September 1916 at Cawnpore. As ALMER is a rather uncommon surname I wonder if it should be AYLMER. My main interest is in Charlotte and I am interested in trying to find if she was the Charlotte JONES born about 1782 who was baptised in Bengal on 15 September 1789.
