    3. Mary Ann, I have been to find a village called 'Bari Bhari' or 'Bara Bhari' under Dist Sitapur -- Intermediate Panchayat Khairabad -- Panchayat Bari (or Bara) Bhari. To reach there follow the link http://www.evri.com/location/khairabad-sitapur-0x101dce . From here click on the third item from the bottom and look for page 956. Khairabad is about 8 km from Sitapur. (Panchayat, literally 'Council of five', is an old Indian word describing the council of village elders that ran common affairs of villages. Panchayats have been brought, in the modern times, into the administrative fold and are elected bodies, the constituents being the villagers.) Bara Bhari also comes up in http://villages.ws/india/uttar_pradesh/sitapur/bara_bhari_khairabad_0086625.htm and a few other sites. It appears to be such a small place that there is nothing else about it that is available on the internet. You can see it in wikimapia.org at coordinates 27.5002777778 N, 80.7513888889 E. Khairabad is SE of Sitapur along NH24. Near the southern end of Khairabad and on the other side of NH24 is the tiny hamlet of Bara Bhari, consisting of a few dozen houses. (NH is National Highway, something like the Interstate in the US. Arvind Kolhatkar, Toronto, July 28, 2010.
