Pam, I found a further reference to H. T MOODY by searching Google Books http://books.google.com/ for 'Rangoon Electric Tramway' and "Moody.'. Unfortunately I can see only a snippet view. But the journal Electrical Review, volume 146, published in, I think, 1950, refers to Mr. H. T Moody A.M.I.E.E. as the chief engineer of the company, having succeeded Mr. G. R. T Edwards B. Sc., M.I.E.E. in the position. A.M.I.E.E. stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. You can look that up via Google. It merged with another organisation in 2006. The headquarters of the merged organisation is in Stevenage, Hertfordshire - I'm sure that you will be able to find a full address somewhere. It's possible that there will be some archives of the I.E.E. that mention Harold Thomas Moody. There is a published history of the Rangoon Electric Tramway Company but it is out of print. Noel
