In DeKalb County, we had an area called "College Corner" with a College Corner School. The school was started in the 1850-1860 era. We have been searching to discover why the name "College Corner." I notice that Jay, Madison, Wabash and Wayne have areas known as College Corner. Can anyone tell me the why and how these areas were named College Corner. Looking for any possible clues.
