It is a must place to visit if you are going to be in DeKalb County. As far as I could tell, all, or most all, of the cemeteries have been walked through and are recorded. These books are at the library. They also have microfilm of many the older newspapers, etc. etc. The people there are most helpful, especially a Lucy Funk. Lucy doesn't work at the library, but she does much genealogy research of the area. She's done a bit of work for me since my trips to Auburn are limited, and she's always been thorough and fair. I have also personally walked the Spencerville (White City) cemetery and the Riverside cemetery in St. Joe many times. Have also visited Jenkins, Concord and some other cemeteries a few times. I remember there are many KNIGHTS buried in the Concord cemetery. It's a very small cemetery and I think they are in the process of restoring the stones there, but many stones have been broken or worn so that they can't be read. I hope this helps someone. Nancy, I'd be interested in learning about your KNIGHTS. I have been looking for information on a Michael KNIGHT who married Sarah JOHNSON about 1844 in DeKalb County. Sarah died about 1855 and Michael left Indiana with their 2 sons, leaving their 2 daughters in the care of Sarah's family.
