Just trying to help. I found a Cleo Dicks in the Social Security Death Index. She was born on 17 Jul 1901 and died in Aug 1982, in Auburn, DeKalb county. Her SSN was 307-01-9582, you can ask the Social Security Agency for any info they may have on her. In the 1930 census for Dekalb County, Auburn, Dist 24, sheet 6B or page 12, there was a family headed by Clarence Dicks, 35, first married at 28, a manager of a filling station, born in Ill, father in Ind and mother in Ill. Included were his wife Cleo, 28, first married at 20, born in Ind as were both parents, his son George, 7, Ind, and his daughter Helen, 6, Ind. Sorry I can't help anymore but most on-line records for Indiana end in 1920 and the 1940 census is sealed by law for a few more years. Don in Mesa, Az.
