    3. I am looking for the death date of George Revett who served in the 44th Indiana and is buried at Butler Cemetery. It is close to 1879. His wife is Nancy. Thank you for any help!

    3. According to the History of DeKalb County, George Revett died 9 Mar 1879. He was the son of James Revett and Sarah Haskins and both he and his father fought in the Indiana 44th. George Revett was wounded at Shiloh. I could not find him in the Butler Cemetery but I did find his mother and father buried there. I have more information on the family.
