I have run across those William/Catherine family Humbert baptism records, maybe from you in a former posting on another board. Not sure. I did not have the other Humbert records (George). I thought William and his brother David came from Pennsylvania and were sons of Frederick Humbert, however, now that I think about it Frederick may have first settled in Maryland and then went on to Pennsylvania. Where did you get the church records? Did you write to the church to get records for a particular name or is there a way to access all of the records for a particular timeframe? I'm interested in seeing who else might have been in the same church at around the same time. Would you be able to tell me how to go about getting church records? Email me if you'd prefer. About your Hubler/Humbert name theory, it's entirely possible, but so far I can't find any concrete evidence. Thank you so much for your response.
