I am searching for my elusive HARRIS & CRAWFORD lines in IN.. Benjamin Franklin Harris was b in OH 1857. He always went by name of FRANKLIN HARRIS ,even on his marriage license to CLARA CRAWFORD in 1879. This marriage was in the adjoining Allen County. Clare Crawford was b DeKalb county in 1860-61. FRANKLIN HARRIS is found on the 1860 census in DEKALB COUNTY at age 2 1/2 -3. This particular on line image is very poor & virtually unreadable in part. I am wanting to find a readable copy of 1860 census or have a lookup. It appears that his parents listed on the 1860 census is a Morgan Harris & Elizabeth Harris?? Again, an unclear image.Looking for list of Harris Families on 1860/1870 census. According to DeKalb website births, CLARE CRAWFORD HARRIS gave birth to a baby girl in DeKalb County in 1884. Looking for any proof/documentation of this. Any info on this HARRIS/CRAWFORD line in DeKalb County will be most appreciated. Dick Harris Thank You.
