The 1850 census for DeKalb county, Jackson, page 12, lists a family headed by Jane Wilson, 47, born in Va, and included Hiram, 19, laborer, Ohio, - Mary Ann, 12, Ohio, and Nancy, 7, Ohio. Prior to 1880 no family relationships were shown, so we can only assume that Jane is the mother of the children. Prior to 1850, only the name of the head of household is shown, so it would be next to impossible to find the family prior to that. Don
