I found a burial inscription of "John Hough, d. Sept 6, 1866, at 59y, 7m, 3d" on the DeKalb County website. The gravesite is in New Auburn Evergreen Cemetery, DeKalb County, Indiana. This is the right timeframe for my John Hough and I am hoping there might be an obituary or some other information that would have some of his family members' names in it to assist in finding out if this is the John Hough I am looking for.
