George had been previously married according to LDS film #1872324 Application for marriage license book 8 p.8 - note for George- previously married once-name unknown-died 15 Feb 1919 - note for Mary Chasey - second marriage George Ellsworth Zimmer - previously married to Ettinger-died 31 Oct 1909 Don't know if this helps or is even the same person - I don't have any more information on this family.
