I've recently started researching my family history. One black hole I'm trying to fill is on my paternal grandfather's lineage. His name is C. L. Barkey. I believe his first name was Coyle and he was born July 1900. If Coyle is the right "C.L. Barkey", he married Elsie Stichter in Freeport, IL around 1927 or 1928. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Of course if there is anything I can do way out here in Oregon to help your already extensive “700 page” effort, I would be happy to return a favor. Scott Downey
