J.R. Meese's son, Ora Elmer, married Grace Elizabeth Scoville. They had 6 children before her untimely death. My Great "Grandma B" (that's what we called her) was one of their children. Her name was Cora May. "May" (as her friends knew her) married Verle Billings. They had three children together. Most of their lives they lived in Auburn, IN. After Verle and May celebrated their 50th weddding anniversary; Verle passed away in Aug. of 1980. May continued to live in Auburn until her death in January of 2003. May's daughter, granddaughter, and great granddaughter (myself) still reside in Auburn. Just before Grandma B passed she became fixated for months on a baby. No one knew what she was talking about, but it was very real to her. She wanted to save the baby, and repeatedly saw it falling. I realize that it was probably a hallucination of sort, but if anyone has any info on this if it is really something that she was recalling. The only thing that I've found is that Cecil Harry (her father, Ora's brother) had a son (Ralph C.) that was born in 1911 and died in 1923, is it possible his death was the cause of a fall.
