McNaughton 70, died December 24, 2004 at her residence in Miramar Lakes from cancer. She was born September 1, 1934 in Auburn, Indiana and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She lived in Southwest Florida for the past 18 years with her husband, W. Bruce McNaughton. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and taking cruises. She was an award winning artist known for her sculptures and "Sailor's Valentine's". She is survived by her husband, W. Bruce McNaughton; daughter, Lisa; sons, Jeffrey, Douglas and William and three grandchildren, Crystal, Arielle and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregg. Funeral services will be private. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice or the American Diabetes Assocation.
