If I can help you any other way, let me know. Yours in Christ, Debbie I am searching for my elusive HARRIS & CRAWFORD lines in IN.. Benjamin Franklin Harris was b in OH 1857. He always went by name of FRANKLIN HARRIS ,even on his marriage license to CLARA CRAWFORD in 1879. This marriage was in the adjoining Allen County. Clare Crawford was b DeKalb county in 1860-61. FRANKLIN HARRIS is found on the 1860 census in DEKALB COUNTY at age 2 1/2 -3. This particular on line image is very poor & virtually unreadable in part. I am wanting to find a readable copy of 1860 census or have a lookup. It appears that his parents listed on the 1860 census is a Morgan Harris & Elizabeth Harris?? Again, an unclear image.Looking for list of Harris Families on 1860/1870 census. According to DeKalb website births, CLARE CRAWFORD HARRIS gave birth to a baby girl in DeKalb County in 1884. Sandoe (b. 1815 Dauphin Co, PA, died about 1890 - possibly OH). They had - at least - the following children: Henry H., George W., James W.N., Minerva, Agnes and Sherman Grant Sandoe. (My ancestor is George W.) William B. Sandoe usually went by Rev. W.B. Sandoe and was a traveling minister. Have only been able to find him on the 1880 census - very frustrating. I know from 1851-1852 they were in Perry County PA, then I didn't pick up their trail again until 1872 in Dekalb Co, IN. I know the family has ties to other Sandoe's living in IL, OH, VA and western PA. >From a family bible we know that Nancy had a brother William H. Alvord and have actually found a bio on him on the net. That bio listed him as the son of George Alvord and Mary Shumper, that he was born in Dauphin County, unfortunately it did not go so far as to list the names of his sisters, only that he had 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Four of his brother's names were listed: H. Fred; David; George and Jacob. Anyone heard of this family?

Joseph is buried in Eddy Cemetery, but his gravestone is not legible enough to get an exact date of death, I am told. An estimate is sometime in 1782, but this is a best guess. I wonder if anyone has an obit on Joseph or his wife, Margaret (who died abt. 1875 and also is in Eddy Cemetery)? Or any other info on this family? Thanks.

My father had always been given the impression from your uncle Bob/my grandpa that we were Blackfoot. I've been curious as to which tribe we really are and how is Elizabeth connected to the tribe; was her mother Native American or was her father Native American or both? I haven't been able to find much on this.
