Nancy MOCHMAR, age 62 is living with him and listed as mother of John. Rachel doesn't show up in 1880 or 1900. Did she die in DeKalb County? Is she buried at Waterloo?

I am from Miller Ovid's line. I know Hiram died of cancer and was very ill for quite some time. I am to young to know any of the stories, however I bet I could put you in touch with a few people who you could talk to, my sister-she remembers Mae and maybe Nelda's daughter (approx. 89 year olds, currently) or grandchildren. I have in storage Mae's journals. I have never had the time to go through them, however I know my sister has looked at them once or twice. Anyone have information and knowledge on MORGAN HARRIS & wife ELIZABETH BASE HARRIS found in Dekalb County between 1860 & about 1885? I am trying to document that Benjamin FRANKLIN Harris is a son of Morgan & Elizabeth Benjamin FRANKLIN Harris used the name Frank or Franklin most of his life. He is my Grandfather & was in Dekalb County in 1893 when his son Ben F. Harris ll was born Benjamin FRANKLIN Harris m Clara M. Crawford in 1879 in Allen County. I'm gatherine information on the Jacob Smith/Margaret Berkheimer family. This couple had at least nine children: Aaron, Fanny, Frederick, John, Levi, Maria, Susanna, Henry and Polly Smith. I have found information in DeKalb County on the last two children and many members of their families.
